- A.As the pedometer employs an acceleration sensor, sensor response may vary from person to person, or according to how the phone is held. The pedometer may also detect the small vibrations generated by some vehicles.
Use pedometer results only as a guide.

- Q.The temperature indicated by the thermometer tool is different to the actual temperature.
- A.As the thermal sensor is located inside the phone, it cannot instantly detect the temperature of the outside environment. To achieve more accurate readings, expose the phone to open air and wait for a while. Note also that the thermal sensor may be affected by factors such as heat generated by the phone while it is in use, or by body heat.
Use the results of the thermometer only as a guide.

- Q.Can I use the touchscreen in wet conditions? Can I use the touchscreen when the phone is submerged in water?
- A.A capacitive touchscreen panel can fail to sense correctly with even a small amount of water on the screen, and may not respond as intended when wet. After the phone has been exposed to water, wipe off any remaining moisture before use. As the phone will not operate when submerged in water, to prevent any possible issues, turn the power off and lock the screen befor soaking.

- Q.Will water resistance be maintained provided the battery cover lock is set to the locked position?
- A.Before locking the slide-type battery cover, be sure to do the following:
1) Close the battery cover and press down firmly on the battery cover at each of the eight points outlined under "Installing and removing the battery" on page15 of the User Guide.
2) Firmly close both the headset connector port cover and the charging data port cover.
